Are you getting ready to enjoy the last dredges of summer before jumping into a (hopefully) productive fall? Because that is where I find myself.
The realization that summer is nearly at an end is both sudden (despite the steady ticking away of time) and exciting – particularly as it allows me to unveil some of the projects that I have been working on.
First, there is this blog, which I hope will be an easy to navigate place for me to share my experiences with you but also where I can share the career paths of various professionals. Which neatly brings me to my second project – the webinar series. The webinars will be where the professionals will share their work and where you can ask them questions about their work, how they got there, and anything else you can think of. The webinars will run from September this year to June 2024, and the first two talks are coming up next month! For more information on the webinars, click here.
The back-to-school rush always brings back quite happy memories for me of getting notebooks and my pens and pencils ready for the first day of school. While fall is hardly the “first day of school” now, it still seems to mark a restart in my book. An opportunity to re-evaluate where I stand and what I want to accomplish in the three or so months till the next year.
So I leave you with a question – what do you hope to accomplish by the end of the year in terms of your occupation, hobbies, and you as a person?
